Help Me End Family Homelessness in Nashville

I recently began consulting with Safe Haven Family Shelter, a nonprofit organization in Nashville that provides emergency shelter and transitional housing for families with children. Safe Haven is a special place with a long and rich history of serving families in need.

On November 5th, Safe Haven is hosting its annual Hike for the Homeless from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. I am assembling a team, and I’m working to raise $1,000 for Safe Haven through the event.

My consulting project with Safe Haven is starting a Family Mentoring Program to match mentors with families as they work to achieve lasting self-sufficiency. Our short-term goal is to get a team of 10 mentors matched with families for 2012, then to expand the project during the following year.
